If you are not on a plan, upgrading your license depends on how many major versions you are behind the current shipping version.
If you are 1 or 2 versions behind you can:
- Enroll in any plan. You receive the upgraded version immediately along with the benefits of that plan. You must remain enrolled in that plan for a minimum of 12 months. If you cancel your plan before the 12 month period expires you will be charged the balance of a 12 month enrollment.
- OR you can purchase the equivalent of 1 year of the Basic plan for your configuration.

you will need to enroll in one for a minimum of one year. You can enroll in any plan, and will be able to upgrade immediately.
If you pay monthly and decide to cancel your enrollment within the first year, you will be responsible for the balance of the first year's payment at the time of cancellation.
