Gifts Given vs. Used Report Reference

The Gifts Given vs. Used Report provides users with the ability to print out balances for Memorial Gifts. The report window uses the standard CDM+ report framework, but there are two unique features to the report that is specific to Memorial Gifts:

Search on Designees, and
The ability to print designees with or without a balance.

A	Expand		Expand Preview window across the window
B	Search	Standard Search	Quick setup search of date range and designees
		Advanced Search	Allow more complex searches across designee fields.
C	Options	Report	Option to toggle With Balance and Without Balance.
		Format	Options for report headers, footers, alignment, font, and date formats.
		Page Setup	Page options such as paper width, height, scale, and margins.
		Logo	Option to add a logo to your report.
		Text	Options for Text File and Clipboard.
D	Setup	Load/Save	Ability to save Report options and search to be used without needing to set all the parameters again.
		Defaults	Clicking this item sets all Searches and Options to the as-shipped settings.
E	Collapse		Clicking this item collapses the Sidebar

Print and Preview Options

Section	Report Framework	Function	Use
F	Print/Export Options	Refresh	This will print the report in the Preview window.
		Screen	This prints the report in a separate window.
		Excel/Numbers	This will export the report information to Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers spreadsheet applications.
		Clipboard	This will print the report to the clipboard to be available to paste in any application.
		Text File	This will print the report to a text file that can be opened in text editors or any application that can open a text file.
		PDF	This print the report to a PDF.

G	Preview Window		Clicking the Refresh print option displays the report In this part of the report window.
H	Preview Options	Search Contents	This allows you to search the contents of the report to look up specific information.
		Show Page List	This gives you a list of all of the pages of the report allowing you to quickly jump to pages without a lot of scrolling.
		Zoom	This allows you to increase or decrease the visual size of the report to make it easier to read or be able to see more information in the window.

Gifts Given vs. Used specific Report features

Standard Search

Used/Given Date Range

The date range of when gifts were given and used. It is important to remember that this range incorporates both gifts given and gifts used. For example, gifts could have been given from January 2014 through December 2020, but the last gift used was in July 2021. Then, you must ensure that the date range incorporates the first gift given and the last gift used.

Gift Designees

This is a list of all designees entered under the Gift Designee Records window. You can use all or select the specific designees you wish to print.

There are two checkboxes to give you the ability to toggle the balance of designee records. With the two checkboxes, you can opt to show Designees that have a balance and those without together. Or, you can choose to show those with or without a balance.
